A silky and delicious wine now with very fine tannins, medium body and berry, wet-earth, lavender and currant character. Drink now or hold.
Score: 92, James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com, April 2019
The 2016 Haut-Bergey is powerful and a bit rough around the edges, but pleasantly rustic in its own way. Leather, tobacco, cedar and game power through in this deep, flavorful Pessac-Léognan.
Score: 89, Antonio Galloni, vinous.com, September 2020
