The deep ruby/purple-hued, velvety-textured 2006 Gigondas Valbelle (from 80-year old vines) boasts a gorgeous nose of black fruits, bouquet garni, meat juices, and subtle hints of earth and wood. Full-bodied and opulent with stunning depth as well as richness, it should drink beautifully for 10-15 years
