As the largest Georgian wine importer in Hong Kong, Pinewood Wine participated WinExpo Georgia 2023 as a presenter. To give more insights to Georgian wineries and related companies, Pinewood Wine presented its company profile as well as Hong Kong's wine market statistics and previous promotional events for Georgian wines. 

Outside the presentation stage, over 100 wineries joined the exhibition to display their wines while a certain number of companies shows their latest machineries for winemaking. As an importer, Pinewood Wine team tasted over 200 wines on the day and discovered great potential in many of them. Certainly, Pinewood Wine wish to further expand the Georgian wine profile and to distribute more exclusive brands from Georgia. 

WinExpo Georgia is a leading exhibition in the industry with years of continuous tradition that, for a long time, has given the best opportunities to Georgian wine producers to present their product on both local and international markets. The exhibition attracts around 4000 visitors every year, presents up to 100 different companies. Parallel to the exhibition, WinExpo Georgia has established the International Wine Award, which has been held for 13 years now and is a great contributor to the popularization of Georgia, both in the country and abroad. The head of the competition is Tim Atkin, an award-winning British Master of Wine, broadcaster, and the author at Decanter and many other prestigious publications.
