Tasting Notes
|
Once upon a time Prosecco was made like this , with a blend that combined several local varieties. In addition to Glera (the original name of the vine which later became famous under the name of Prosecco), some rare native grapes found on the hills of Valdobbiadene were used: Verdiso, Perera and Bianchetta Trevigiana. With the commitment of six winegrowers, some vineyards composed of these original varieties have been cultivated in small plots.
Today, thanks to the passion of Val D'Oca for a tradition that must be safeguarded and for a noble and intense puff, the ancient blend relives, with the addition of the SQNPI certification (National Quality System for Integrated Production) which certifies its use. of means of production and defense of crops from adversity able to minimize the use of synthetic chemicals in the vineyard and to rationalize practices such as fertilization.
This is how Uvaggio Storico was born, which brings back a touch of the past and the suggestions of the life of the past, simple but full of emotions in the glass. Full, as is the taste that releases this sparkling wine with a singular personality.
Clear, the color is straw yellow with greenish reflections. The perlage is fine and persistent. The nose reveals delicate aromas, fruity and floral notes reminiscent of apple and acacia flowers. In the mouth it reveals an elegant, well structured wine. The right softness is accompanied by the slight acid note in a balanced way. A lasting aromatic continuity is perceived on the aftertaste. Excellent as an aperitif and perfect companion to biscuits, almond biscuits, strudel and other traditional Italian sweets.
If you are a researcher subtleties of great little wine rarities can not help but try it and certainly appreciate it.
